[20/2/2025] Linguistica e filologia computazionale, Open Science. Nuove prospettive

What tools are currently available for detecting semantic change in texts? How advanced are the technologies for textual alignment? And what has been done so far to ensure that this knowledge is truly open, that is to say, accessible to anyone interested in studying and developing it?

These questions will be addressed during the study day Linguistica e filologia computazionale, Open Science. Nuove prospettive, scheduled for the 20th of February 2025 at the Aula Ex Cataloghi Lignei.

Two distinguished guests of our Department will participate: Federico Boschetti, Senior Researcher at CNR-ILC and Visiting Scholar within the “”Department of Excellence””Dipartimento di Eccellenza” program, and Barbara McGillivray, Lecturer in Digital Humanities and Cultural Computation at King’s College London.
